Consultation, Supervision, and Training for Clinicians
In addition to working directly with clients, Insights Group supports other mental health professionals and organizations through professional consultation, clinical supervision, and specialized training. These services are led by Elian Beattie, MS, LMHC, LCMHC, owner and clinical director of Insights Group, who brings over a decade of clinical experience treating OCD, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders across residential and outpatient levels of care.

Professional Consultation
Professional consultation is a structured, confidential service in which a specialist works alongside another clinician or treatment team to provide guidance on complex cases, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based approaches. It is not therapy for your clients. It is specialized support for you as a professional.
Individual Consultation gives therapists, counselors, social workers, dietitians, and other mental health professionals a dedicated space to think through complex or high acuity cases involving eating disorders, OCD, and anxiety disorders, along with treatment planning, level of care questions, and specific modalities such as ERP or ACT.
Organizational Consultation supports treatment teams, hospitals, and residential or outpatient programs with case consultation, program development, staff training, and review of intake and treatment protocols.
Consultation is available virtually to professionals and organizations nationwide, with in-person sessions available at our Rye, NH office.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is a formal, board-regulated relationship in which a licensed clinician oversees the work of a prelicensed clinician completing the hours and training required for full licensure. It is a distinct role from professional consultation, carrying its own set of legal and ethical responsibilities under state licensing boards.
Elian Beattie is a board-approved clinical supervisor in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Formal supervision is generally provided to prelicensed clinicians working within Insights Group's practice. Prelicensed clinicians outside the practice who are interested in supervision are welcome to reach out to discuss whether an arrangement is possible.
Supervision draws on specialized experience in OCD, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders, along with evidence-based approaches including CBT, ERP, FBT, and ACT.
Trainings
Insights Group provides educational training for clinicians, treatment teams, hospitals, and organizations building or refining their programs for OCD and eating disorders. Training is available in person in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, or online for teams anywhere in the country.
- OCD Training covering recognition and diagnosis, an overview of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and guidance on building treatment plans
- Eating Disorder Training covering recognizing signs and presentations, evidence-based treatment approaches, and strategies for coordinating care across a team
- Integrated Treatment for OCD and Eating Disorders, helping teams recognize when the two conditions co-occur and build a coordinated approach
Content can be tailored to a group’s needs, from a general overview for broader staff to a deeper dive for a clinical team. In-person training is available nationally; for locations more than 50 miles from our Rye, NH office, additional travel expenses may apply.
